Les Septiers is set in typical Touraine countryside about 30 miles south of the city of Tours and 3km from the village of Betz le Chateau. (Michelin Yellow Tourist Map No. 68 ). Basic grocery supplies are available in the village and the main shopping towns are Ligeuil and Loches (Medieval City) - each about 15 mins by car. There are restaurants within 15 minutes drive and many of the more famous Chateaux and Vineyards are within easy visiting distance.The area is extremely rich in wild-life of all kinds. The architecture of the region is very beautiful and every excursion is a sight-seeing trip.

Out of Season
The weather here can be lovely in the early spring and well into the autumn and these are often the best seasons for holidays involving activities outside - especially walking, cycling and bird watching etc. Our gite, whilst cool and comfortable in the summer, is kept warm and comfortable in the colder weather by wood-fired central heating. So if you fancy an off-season break, or have a piece of work to finish in peace and quiet, you will find Les Septiers the ideal retreat.
On a short break your time is precious so we can do your shopping in advance (local supermarket only) and have a meal ready to welcome you when you arrive.
